Experience the best of an old-fashioned private practice where we will get to know you and help you find the answers to all of your eye health needs. We are conveniently located at the South Jersey Professional Center in Voorhees, and we would be delighted to have you as a patient. If you are in Cherry Hill, our office is just minutes away! Our full-service optometry office provides a comprehensive eye exam to fully evaluate the health of your eyes. We routinely treat and co-manage contact lens problems, red eyes, glaucoma, cataract, Lasik and refractive surgery candidates. We work with local and regional medical specialists and ophthalmologists for more complicated problems. If you feel lost in a clinic or a mall, you should try us to find what you've been missing!

Jun 16, 2013 - Contact lenses- The Next Generation!
This has been an exciting year for one day contact lenses. The new Total 1 is coming out this June. We've had a chance to try it and some patients feel it's more comfortable than not having a lens at all! We are considering it as a potential therapy for dry eyes. Vistakons new Trueyes, Safigels Wetlens and B&L's Biotrue were released earlier this year and have been comfortable, breathable well designed lenses. Cooper introduced their one day multifocal for early presbyopes (beginner bifocal wearers). More »

Mark your calendars! On April 16, 2013 Dr. Melman's Eyeland is the place to be. Come join us for our anniversary celebration. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to join in the festivities. Workshop! Do you find yourself pondering these questions: Why do I feel like I am working out so much but see very little in results? Or what do those labels at the supermarket mean when they say "reduce" or "low"? Do you find yourself wondering what's the difference between fresh and organic? Is organic really better?
