We care for your eyes, whether treating a red eye, monitoring diabetic eye complications, or maximizing your vision. Contact lenses can usually be tried on your first visit so you can try them before you leave. Our in-house optical lab allows us to customize your eyeglass needs as well.

Our comprehensive eye care program is an important part of your preventive health care. Because many eye and vision problems have no obvious signs or symptoms it is important that you schedule an eye exam on a regular basis. Dr. Melman is a leader in NJ Optometry and continues to be an expert on dry eye health as well as myopia management. He frequently investigates new products and services to improve the care of our patients. Dr. Melman is devoted to providing personalized care, listening to your concerns, and providing the best solutions.
Sara
Lab + Media Manager
Sara is our Lab Manager and Optician Apprentice. Sara has been learning more about the optical dispensary, where she can help patients find their perfect pair of frames and lenses. She also manages our social media and website content.

Anita
Lead Optician
Anita has become a nationally known consultant to the optical industry and her advice appears in industry journals. She takes great joy in finding the best frame and lens experience for patients of every age. She is also a Representative for Vision Care that leads educational and idea exchange meetings with other independent practices.
Dr. Patel
Optometrist
Dr. Patel graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in biology. She went on to get her Optometric degree from the New England College of Optometry. She is also a member of the NJ Optometric Society & the American Optometric Association.

Check-out
Alycia is the first person that everyone sees as they enter Eyeland. She checks in all of our patients and pretests them before they go into the exam room. Alycia also makes sure that all of our patient's questions are addressed before heading back to see the doctor.
Patti has become a master of Check-Out. She knows all of the ins and outs of contact lens rebates and can schedule you in the blink of an eye. Her main goal is to ensure that all of our patients leave Eyeland completely satisfied with their visit.

Patient Care Coordinator
Lauren is our scribe in the exam room. She helps the doctor with various tasks like inputting patient notes during exams and entering daily reports. Lauren assists with contact lens fittings and will grab different trials for patients to try during their visit.
Kathy wears many hats in our office. She has learned Check-In, Check-Out, Scribing and most recently Billing. Her ability to take on new responsibilites and problem solve makes her a true asset to our team. Kathy strives to give the best service possible at Eyeland.
